no chance!

Given my penchant for 'they lived happily ever after ...’, I've always felt outraged about the callous way Bebo ditched Shahid .... sure, none of my business, but when that has ever stopped me?!
Since then, have celebrated every hit of Shahid's (kaminey being brilliant!) & kinda gloated over every flop of Kareena's .... yeah, yeah, why should I, but hum to aisey hain bhaiyya!!
Needless to say, expectations from ‘Chance pe Dance’ were not misplaced – there was my weird maternal/protective attitude towards Shahid, the fact that I quite enjoyed the simplicity & youth of the previous work of this Ken Ghosh-Shahid combo – “ishq vishq pyar vaar’, was favorably disposed towards Genelia after “jaaney tu ya jaane naa”, love any dance based movies or shows – from ‘step up’ to ‘so you think you can dance’ …..
Like you can take a horse to the water … blah blah …. likewise, u can head for a movie, with all the odds stacked heavily in its favor & still not go ga ga over it!
A run of the mill, totally unoriginal story line of the struggle of a dancer/actor in bollywood – we’ve seen dozens of such films & even enjoyed a few, like ‘Luck by Chance’ ….
Shahid is sincere, but dull, the choreography, a little wannabe (the dancing in “Dhoom 2” for instance, was so much more exciting & hip!), Genelia, crooked mouthed but pretty & just a tad irritating, the music, forgettable ….. as u can c, wished I hadn’t taken a chance on this one & danced optimistically into the theatre!
Chance pe Dance, oh soniye/baliye .... nahinnnnnn - no chance!!
